Man Shot 'Multiple Times,' Muskogee Police Say

Muskogee Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times.

Police say the shooting happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 2200 block of Monta Avenue. Officers say when they arrived on the scene they found the victim who had been shot multiple times but was awake and talking with first responders as he was taken to the hospital.

Muskogee police say the suspect was described as a man, average build, in his 30's, and wearing a gray hoodie. Investigators are on scene this afternoon and say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
