Amazing Oklahoman: Amy Hoagland

One amazing Oklahoman goes above and beyond in her care for animals across the state.

Amy Hoagland founded Rescued’n Ready Animal Foundation. The nonprofit accepts pets from overcrowded shelters or from owners looking for a new home.

They then put in the effort to treat any medical issues and find new homes for them.

Amy runs the company but isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. In August, she personally crawled under a house to rescue nine puppies who were stuck and got them to a vet.
