Applications will be accepted starting Monday for farmers and ranchers who want to get aid funding for any costs or losses they have faced because of COVID-19.
The USDA has announced an additional $14 billion in aid to farmers and ranchers. This funding will go to agricultural producers who are facing market disruptions and other costs due to COVID-19.
“America’s agriculture communities are resilient, but still face many challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic," U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue.
The program is being funded through the Commodity Credit Corporation and the CARES Act.
