Parents can bring their children to get free vaccines and immunizations on Thursday morning, provided by the Oklahoma Caring Foundation.

The Oklahoma Caring Foundation Van will be at the Utica Park Clinic in Owasso to give free immunizations and vaccines from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30am. Any child from ages 6 weeks up to 18 years old is eligible to participate and no identification or medical records are needed.

The vaccines offered are all of the basic immunizations kids need to attend most schools or programs. If your child needs a specific one, you can speak with one of the doctors at the event.

There are typically up to five Caring Van events per month in and around the Tulsa area and Caring Van specialist Fernando Guillen said this is just another way to help the community.

“We like to deliver preventative health services to the people that are in lack of disservices,” Guillen said.

The program will also be offering free flu shots as well starting on October first at their upcoming clinics.
