Veteran Salute: Harold 'Shorty' Chance

We're continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we're recognizing Harold "Shorty" Chance.

Shorty served in the Vietnam War from 1969 until 1970 as a tank commander and received two Purple Hearts while he was there.

He's the Vice Mayor of Coweta and serves as a Deacon at his church.

Shorty also volunteers with the King's Kitchen meal program for shut-ins and is always the 1st to step up to help others.

We're told he loves his town and the people who live there.
