Friday is the last day to donate to the United Way's "Gadget Drive" as they are collecting supplies to help students with distance learning.
The United Way has been collecting most tech supplies such as surge protectors and computer mice. Once they sort through the supplies they will deliver them to organizations like the YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs.
Krista Hemme with the United Way said headphones are probably the most needed item currently, and she believes the donations will make a big difference for students and their families.
"While headphones, you know, they range in price depending on what you get, that's not something they're thinking about, said Hemme. "They're thinking about how to pay bills, how to pay the rent."
