Police Chase Ends In Tulsa Country Club

Tulsa Police have said they are searching for a person who drove a truck through several yards and fences early Monday morning near the Tulsa Country Club.

TPD said the driver of the vehicle drove away from them after they tried to pull them over for a traffic stop. They said the driver went off the road and caused significant damage.

Police said the driver hit an electric box and knocked out power to at least two homes. The driver and a passenger ditched the truck and ran away on foot, according to TPD.

“Unfortunately, at this time we have no idea who they are or where they are or why they ran,” said Tulsa Police Captain Richard Meulenberg. “We’re still trying to find the owner of the vehicle to see if it’s stolen or find any other information that could help us understand why these two ran from us tonight.”
