Parents are rallying outside the Tulsa Public Schools Education Service Center for the option to send their kids to in-person learning for the rest of the semester.

Monday night, Tulsa Public Schools Superintendent Deborah Gist is expected to give her recommendation to the board on whether students should return to learn in person for the second half of the fall semester.

A Tulsa County Teachers Association survey shows more than 60% of teachers want to stay virtual for the rest of the semester.

The board will not vote on this Monday.
