Oklahoma Family Recovers After Fatal Home Explosion

An Oklahoma father is recovering after a deadly home explosion two weeks ago in Oklahoma City.

Shawn Maguire’s 14-year-old daughter Berklee died in the explosion. Shawn has severe burns and said at first, he wasn’t sure he was going to make it.

“I didn’t know if I was going to live or die,” Shawn said. “There was a lot of talking, but they just were not talking to me and she held my hand as it felt like they were scraping skin off my body.”

Shawn is now out the ICE and both his wife and son are recovering.
