Man Who Robbed Tulsa Banks Sentenced to 12 Years In Federal Prison

A Tulsa man who prosecutors say robbed two Tulsa banks has pleaded guilty in Federal Court. U.S. Attorney Trent Shores' office announced on Monday that Thomas Lawrence Dean admitted to robbing the banks by claiming he had a bomb and guns.

A Tulsa man who prosecutors say robbed two Tulsa banks has pleaded guilty in Federal Court.

U.S. Attorney Trent Shores' office announced on Monday that Thomas Lawrence Dean admitted to robbing the banks by claiming he had a bomb and guns.

According to the plea agreement Dean agreed to a 12-year sentence in federal prison.

A judge will finalize that sentencing at a hearing set for January 5th of 2021.
