The man who Tulsa police say is accused of murdering his girlfriend and her niece near Pine Avenue and MLK Boulevard is scheduled to be in court on Thursday.
Jail records show Howard Peeples is scheduled to appear in court on both complaints of first-degree murder.
Police say they believe he shot and killed his girlfriend, Chantel Dean and her niece, Na'veha Alexander early Wednesday morning.

There were three other children inside the home at the time of the murders who were not hurt.
According to family members, Peeples and Dean had just had a baby together and they said Alexander turned 16 just two weeks before her murder.
TPD said their detectives tracked Peeples down about a mile away from where the shooting happened.
Records show Peeples had prior convictions for child abuse and weapons charges.
