The Rogers County Election Board is extending their business hours until midnight to help voters on Friday, the last day to register to vote in Oklahoma for November’s general election.
“We’re trying to go that little extra mile just to make sure our voters feel confident that their vote is going to be taken care of,” said Julie Dermody, Rogers County Election Board Secretary.
Dermody said they have been doing this since 2014, and it has turned into their version of a tradition. She said this gives them a chance to serve the people who may work untraditional hours.
You can also register to vote online on the Oklahoma State Election Board website.
Applications must be completed and turned in to your county’s election board by the end of business hours on Friday.
