Amazing Oklahoman: Renee McGirt

One amazing Oklahoman runs a volunteer group dedicated to helping Tulsa’s homeless population.

Renee McGirt runs a group called Hydrate Tulsa. Twice a week, Renee and some volunteers pass out food, drinks and hygiene products to the homeless in Tulsa.

She’s only been running the nonprofit for a few months, but it has already been extremely helpful.

Right now, Renee is collecting warm clothing and blankets to give out ahead of colder winter months.
