The Oklahoma State Virtual Charter School Board voted Tuesday 3-1 to begin the process of considering termination of its contract with Epic Charter Schools.
The decision comes in response to the allegations of misconduct and misappropriation of funds revealed in a recent audit.

Epic Charter Schools will have an opportunity to respond before the board decides whether or not to cut ties with what is now Oklahoma's largest school district.
The board made its decision during their virtual meeting, after a member of the state auditor's office went through the audit page by page.
