The Oklahoma State Election Board said that they are continuing to mail out a record-breaking number of absentee ballots this election season.
The election Board has mailed almost 300,000 absentee ballots, more than double the previous record set back in June according to Election Board officials About 107,000 of those ballots have already been mailed back.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is by the 27th of October.
To have your ballot counted, it must be received by the county election board by 7 p.m. on Election Day. The USPS recommends mailing in your voted absentee ballot at least one week prior to the election date.
