Oklahoma's Own Blake Shelton has once again made a big impact on children in Oklahoma foster care by taking them fishing.
Shelton, a member of the Oklahoma Wildlife Foundation Board of Directors, took part in a program that provides foster children the opportunity to spend some time outdoors.

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services Director said that at any given time there are 7,700 Oklahoma children in foster care through DHS. According to the director, many of those children don't get the opportunity to get outdoors, which is why the Fostering Outdoor Oklahoma Families Program was created.
The program is a partnership with the wildlife department, DHS and the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation that is introducing foster children and their families to the outdoors.
Blake Shelton, a member of the Oklahoma Wildlife Foundation Board of Directors, took part in the program by providing foster children the opportunity to spend some tie outdoors fishing.
