Man Arrested For Murder Of Missing Bartlesville Man, Police Say

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona said they arrested Daylan Jacob Thornton for the murder of 66-year-old Steven Mark Brashear of Bartlesville. Jacob suspect was originally a person of interest. They say the arrest comes after a lengthy investigation from their homicide division. Brashear's remains were found in Pima County, Arizona last December and had been picked apart by mountain lions.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona said they arrested Daylan Jacob Thornton for the murder of 66-year-old Steven Mark Brashear of Bartlesville. Jacob suspect was originally a person of interest.\

They say the arrest comes after a lengthy investigation from their homicide division. Brashear's remains were found in Pima County, Arizona last December and had been picked apart by mountain lions.

Thornton was originally arrested on auto theft complaints after he was driving a car registered to Brashear. He claimed the vehicle was given to him.

Among Thornton’s new charges that he faces include first degree murder.
