Church Spire Collapses In Chile Following Fire

A church spire collapsed after catching fire in Chile's capitol on Sunday.

The church in Santiago, where the fire broke out, is near the area where demonstrators faced off with police on the one-year anniversary of a mass protest on Sunday. The protest one year ago was over inequality and left 30 people dead and thousands injured.

Authorities said the church caught fire after reportedly being attacked by protesters.

Firefighters were not able to put the fire out before it destroyed the building.
