Tulsa firefighters were called to a home two separate times on Thursday night after two fires broke out within hours of each other.

The fires broke out at a home near East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue.

According to fire officials, they were called out to the same house twice within 12 hours however both times nobody was inside of the home.

Officials said the first fire was small and crews were able to quickly put out it last night however, they said the second fire was much larger, causing significant damage and deeming the home a total loss.

TFD officials added that they are not unfamiliar with the house as they battled a significant fire in the same location about a month ago. The previous fire caused such great damage that the city banned anyone from entering the structure.

Firefighters said that they believe someone started the fire, but right now they are not sure who.
