Haskell Public Schools announced Sunday that it will transition to distance learning for the next two weeks due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Haskell Public Schools announced Sunday that it will transition to distance learning for the next two weeks due to a positive COVID-19 test.

The district made the announcement on its Facebook page.

HPS said distance learning will go into effect on Monday, Oct. 26 and last through Friday, Nov. 6.

HPS' junior high football game scheduled for Monday night and Haskell High's matchup against Beggs on Oct. 30 have both been canceled.

The district said 44 students and nine staff members have been placed into quarantine at this time.
