Tulsa police are searching for the suspect involved in an overnight robbery at a gas station.

According to police, they received a call around 1 a.m. on Monday for an armed robbery in progress at the Kum & Go gas station near West 81st Street and South Olympia Avenue.

Police said that the clerk, who fled out of the back door of the gas station and hid in a nearby field for safety, told them that a man with a gun had come into the store. According to police, the clerk was able to safely wait for police to arrive and waited as they cleared the scene with a K9 unit.

Police did not find anyone inside the gas station by the time they arrived and while they did review the gas station’s security footage, they are still unsure of who the suspect is and what they were able to get away with.
