A Tulsa mother has been reunited with her daughter thanks in part to the Tulsa Police Department and FaceTime.
Laquesha Nelson was with her daughter in their car when she decided to run inside of a laundromat near East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue on Tuesday night to grab clothes out of the dryer, and when she came out, her car was gone, with her daughter inside.
According to Nelson, she immediately called 911.
"I was just praying," said Nelson. "Asking the lord just keep her safe, keep her protected, don't let them touch her at all."
Nelson said her daughter used the iPhone App Facetime to call her from the back seat of the vehicle and with the help of police they were able to locate the car with her daughter safely inside.
Police believe the woman who stole the car, fled upon realizing there was a child inside.
