The Tulsa Tech Game of the Week looks to be a great one as undefeated Bishop Kelley hosts one-loss Coweta.

This year, the Tigers have embraced the ‘road warrior’ way.

We tell you about teams battling adversity all the time, but this year, that represents Coweta like a badge of courage. All season long they have had to play every game on the road and Friday they have the chance to win a district title.

"We wouldn't care if it was a Walmart parking lot, but the truth of it is, it is at their place and we know we have our work cut out for us,” Coweta Head Coach Tim Harper said.

Teams have to learn how to win on the road, a lesson the Tigers got last season, losing six games at home, while winning six road games.

"I guess we are 7-1 and 7 games that we have won were basically on the road. We don't need to take a day for granted,” Harper said. “What greater lesson can we learn from this."

All that’s left is to knock off an undefeated Bishop Kelley team that has outscored its opponents 158-14 in its last three games.

"It’s going to be a hostile environment,” Harper said. “It’s going to be loud they are going to have a lot of fans."

Despite that, senior tight end and linebacker Gunnar McCollough said the Tigers are full of confidence heading into Friday.

"I think our offense is going to show up and put the hurt on them,” McCollough said.

Friday's winner will claim the 5A-3 district title.
