Monday, November 2 is the last day to submit an absentee ballot in Tulsa.
There is no in-person early voting being held in Tulsa County on Monday, the last option to cast a ballot in person will be Tuesday at a local designated precinct.
For voters who plan on turning in an absentee ballot, there are two options. If the ballot is being mailed, it needs to be into the Election Board by 7 p.m. on Tuesday to be counted. Absentee ballots can be delivered to the election board in-person until 5 p.m. on Monday, however, ballots delivered to the Election Board on Tuesday will not be accepted.
Election board secretary Gwen Freeman said it is crucial to know how you can vote before it is too late.
Freeman said, "remember if you're thinking about hand-delivering your absentee ballot please don't want until Election Day we can't accept it by law have it into us by 5 p.m. the Monday before."
For voters who plan to vote in-person on Tuesday, a valid Oklahoma ID or voter registration card is required.
