Two State Questions appeared on this year's ballot: 805 and 814.
However, both of those measures failed to pass on Election Day.
State Question 805 failed with a little more than 60% of people voting 'No.'
While State Question 814 failed with nearly 59% of voters rejecting the measure.
805 would have amended the state constitution and would not have let repeat offenders get an enhanced sentence based on their previous non-violent convictions.
Supporters said the state question would have reduced the prison population and long sentences for non-violent crimes.
While opponents argued 805 would create a public safety concern because of the crimes considered by the state to be non-violent--like animal cruelty.
The other state question on the ballot was 814.
It would have adjusted how money received from the tobacco settlement is distributed in order to fund Medicaid expansion in Oklahoma.
But voters rejected 814 just like they did 805.
