Oklahoma Native To Compete In Miss U.S.A. Pageant

The Miss U.S.A. pageant is happening in Memphis, Tennessee on Monday night and 25-year-old Mariah Jane Davis will be representing Oklahoma. Davis is from Norman, Oklahoma and is a member of the Choctaw Nation. According to Davis, she hopes to use her platform to raise awareness about mental health.

The Miss U.S.A. pageant is happening in Memphis, Tennessee on Monday night and 25-year-old Mariah Jane Davis will be representing Oklahoma.

Davis is from Norman, Oklahoma and is a member of the Choctaw Nation. According to Davis, she hopes to use her platform to raise awareness about mental health.

"I am in such a fortunate position in my life and I have the means to give back," said Davis. "I feel like I've been given this amazing platform."

The pageant was originally slated to take place in the spring of 2020 but was moved back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pageant will take place at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee and begins at 7 p.m. Tulsa time.
