Union Public Schools has announced that students at Boevers Elementary and those in grades 6-12 will move to distance learning beginning this Thursday, Nov. 12.

School officials say those students will return to campus on Monday Nov, 30 after Thanksgiving. UPS says they are seeing a shortage of substitute teachers and of bus drivers but will be able to continue regular coursework virtually.

For now, in-person students in grades pre-K-5th grade, with the exception of Boevers, will remain at school. Buses for Union High School students who attend classes at Tulsa Tech will continue to run.
