Downtown Claremore To Install Christmas Lights Year-Round

Christmas lights will soon line the streets of Downtown Claremore all year long.

Claremore city leaders have partnered with the Claremore Min Street group and GRDA to install the lights. They said that the lights will come on for the Dickens on the Boulevard Festival that starts on Friday, November 20.

Jacob Garrison from Claremore Main Street said, "To me, what makes it really special is it really draws your eyes upward. It kind of makes downtown look a little bigger, it has a nice hue, a nice feel."

City leaders said the project has been in the works for about a year.
