Tulsa Police Search For Man Involved In Overnight Chase

Tulsa police say they are searching for a man accused of stealing a truck and leading officers on an overnight chase. According to police, the chase began around 2:30 a.m. when officers responded to reports of a stolen Dodge pickup truck near 3rd Street and North 39 West Avenue. One officer saw the truck and began chasing it through a nearby neighborhood.

Tulsa police say they are searching for a man accused of stealing a pickup truck and leading officers on an overnight chase.

According to police, the chase began around 2:30 a.m. when officers responded to reports of a stolen Dodge pickup truck near 3rd Street and North 39 West Avenue. One officer saw the truck and began chasing it through a nearby neighborhood. Minutes after, police said the suspect turned into a parking lot near South 33rd West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard where he then ran the truck into a fence before fleeing on foot.

Police said that the owner of the stolen pickup truck was contacted, and he was able to drive the vehicle home with no significant damage.
