The number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Oklahoma, and two local leaders in the Catholic Church are among those who have tested positive.
The Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma said in a social media post that two of its leaders recently tested positive.
They are Bishop Emeritus Edward Slattery and Monsignor Patrick Brankin, who is Bishop Emeritus Slattery's secretary.
According to the diocese's Facebook page, Monsignor Brankin has been admitted to Saint Francis Hospital and is receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the diocese said Bishop Emeritus Slattery is still recovering at home.
The church is asking for people to pray that both men have a full recovery.
