Veteran Salute: Charles Bray

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their community.

Today, we recognize Charles Bray.

Charles served in the Army during World War II in Normandy.

At 89-years-old he was illiterate, so he decided to go back to school learn how to read.

He now travels around to elementary schools to promote literacy.
