Organizers of the Tulsa Christmas Parade are putting the final touches on this year's event and attendees can expect to see some big changes.

This year, organizers decided that the parade floats would not be driving down the road like usual and instead they will stay in one place, allowing parade viewers to drive by the floats.

The changes are a part of COVID-19 precautions to ensure everyone involved is able to stay safe.

According to parade organizers, the floats will be parked along Boston Avenue from 7th Street to 3rd Street to allow everyone to safely drive by.

All parade attendees will be required to stay in their vehicles.

The Tulsa Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 12.
