Oklahoma State Department Of Health To Hold News Conference Over COVID-19 Vaccine

A COVID-19 vaccine could arrive in Oklahoma as early as next week. This comes as the state health department reports 1,700 people in the state are in the hospital with the virus. The first doses of Pfizer's vaccine are expected to arrive in Oklahoma between December 10 and December 14and the Moderna vaccine is expected to arrive around the 22nd of December.

A COVID-19 vaccine could arrive in Oklahoma as early as next week. This comes as the Oklahoma State Department of Health 1,700 people in the state are in the hospital with the virus.

The first doses of Pfizer's vaccine are expected to arrive in Oklahoma between December 10 and December 14and the Moderna vaccine is expected to arrive around the 22nd of December.

According to health officials, Oklahoma is expected to get 30,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and around 10,000 doses of Moderna's.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health will hold a news conference about the vaccine on Thursday at 11 a.m. through Zoom.
