The Oklahoma state senate has created a bi-partisan team to address redistricting in the state following the 2020 census.

Tuttle Republican Lonnie Paxton will chair the committee with Tulsa Republican Dave Rader and Oklahoma City Democrat Michael Brooks serving as vice-chairs.

The by-partisan team will work with the House committee to redraw the districts for both the Oklahoma Legislature and Congress, based on census results.

The committee consists of 10 Republicans and 3 Democrats.
