BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -

Bartlesville Public Schools said that the district will shift all students to distance learning starting December 11.

District officials said this shift is due to the "observed and potential impacts on statewide adult intensive care unit bed availability."

The district said that December 11 was scheduled to be a distance learning day and students will remain in distance learning through the end of the semester, December 18.

Bartlesville School officials also said that all extracurricular activities, including sports, will be suspended starting on December 13.
