The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle car accident on northbound Highway 169 just north of Collinsville.

OHP said there were three cars involved in the accident. Officials said that, as Toyota 4 Runner pulled out from a stop sign to go southbound on US-169, a Ford F-150 pickup swerved to avoid the 4 Runner and a third vehicle, a Ford Fiesta hit the 4 Runner. The Ford Fiesta then hit the pickup truck that had pulled over into the shoulder.

The driver of the 4 Runner was pinned for about 20 minutes and the driver of the Fiesta was pinned for about 45 minutes, before Collinsville Fire and Northwest Fire departments were able to get them out. OHP said that both were taken to the hospital, but were admitted in stable condition.

OHP said others involved in the accident were not injured.

The northbound lane was closed for nearly an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
