Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt spent time on Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa meeting with healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 on the front lines.
The Governor's visit comes as hospitals in the state make last-minute preparations for a COVID-19 vaccine.
The governor shared photos of his visit on his Facebook page.
Governor Stitt said in the post, "it was an honor to tour Saint Francis Health system and meet with some of the frontline medical professionals who are working tirelessly to fight COVID-19."
Once it is approved, a vaccine could arrive in Oklahoma in about a week and go to healthcare workers and people in long-term care facilities first.
