Deputies Arrest 2 Suspects In Okmulgee County Shooting

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects as they investigate a shooting near Taft and Lagonda.

Officials said they arrested Timothy Hurd Wednesday afternoon, who is accused of shooting with intent to kill. Officials were searching for a second suspect, Bailey Burke, who was arrested Wednesday night and is accused of shooting with intent to kill and robbery.

The shooting happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday on the northwest side of Okmulgee.

Okmulgee County deputies and Okmulgee police responded to the scene and said the shooting victim crashed a vehicle near the hospital and was then transported to the hospital.

There is no update yet on the victim's condition.
