The Brexit split in the UK will have repercussions around the world, and researchers at Oklahoma State University are examining the impact it could have in the Sooner State.
According to a report from OSU researchers, when the split takes effect, it could create opportunities for Oklahoma's economy.
The report points out the United Kingdom's trade activity puts the country in the top 10 worldwide.
As of last year, the UK was also Oklahoma's eighth largest export destination.
According to the report, the change could open up new paths for trade between Oklahoma and the UK including agriculture and expand existing paths.
