Tulsa firefighters are asking drivers to slow down after they say someone lost control and crashed into one of their fire trucks on Monday.

The accident took place on the west side of the Inner Dispersal Loop around Downtown Tulsa.

Firefighters on the scene were responding to an accident when they say the driver of a van lost control and crashed into the back of their fire truck.

"It's not uncommon. Just driving around, you see people lose control all over the place. Luckily, a lot of time, people regain control, but you know sometimes they can't make that happen and they crash," said Andy Little from the Tulsa Fire Department.

The collision resulted in no injuries, but both vehicles were damaged.
