Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Wednesday.
.VACCINE UPDATE: State officials will have an update on the COVID-19 vaccine arrival and distribution in Oklahoma. The governor and healthcare leaders will be at the news conference in Lawton at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
.VACCINE QUESTIONS? If you have questions about the vaccine, there’s a free townhall with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation at 10 a.m. The AARP is hosting doctors to talk about the latest developments in the fight against the virus. You can jump in on Facebook to ask questions.
.TELE-WORK IN TULSA: The Tulsa City Council will talk about a resolution calling on businesses to let their employees tele-work as much as possible until the case numbers go down. That’s at 5 p.m.
.TRAFFIC ALERTS: US-169 will be narrowed at Pine Street until 5 a.m. and again Wednesday night at 9 p.m. for railroad maintenance at the bridge. Drivers can also expect short-term ramp and lane closures at the I-44 and US-75 interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
.TEAM WORK: Have you ever thought about coworking? 36 Degrees North in downtown Tulsa is offering a free trial Wednesday. You and your team can try working in the shared office space, equipped with free Wi-Fi and coffee, starting at 8 a.m.
.DECK THE PAWS: It’s the last virtual dog play Wednesday of the year. Share a photo of how your pup celebrates the holidays on the Gathering Place Facebook page for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
