Tulsa Firefighters Respond To House Fire Near W Independence, N Union

Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire on Wednesday morning near West Independence Street and North Union Avenue.

According to officials, crews first responded to the call around 3:30 a.m. when a neighbor reported the fire. Crews were able to contain the fire and are currently on the scene working to ensure there are no remaining hazard areas. One person lives in the home but was able to get out safely and is working with TFD to determine the cause of the fire.
