OHP Investigating Deadly Crash On I-44, Admiral

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead on Thursday night.

The crash took place near Interstate 44 and East Admiral Place around 11 p.m. on Thursday and officials said both OHP and Tulsa fire crews responded to the scene.

According to OHP, the driver was headed west on I-44 when they lost control, hit a barrier on the right side of the road and spun out before coming to a stop in the oncoming lanes.

Officials said that the driver died at the scene of the crash and no other vehicles were involved.

The identity of the victim has yet to be released.
