A man is in the Tulsa County Jail on Tuesday after authorities say he crashed his truck and fled the scene, leaving behind drugs and an injured passenger.
According to troopers, the driver, who they identified as Daniel Clark, was driving west on Highway 412 near 65th West Avenue when he drove off the road before he crossed the median and hit a guard rail. Police said that Clark fled from the vehicle and ran into the woods, leaving a passenger behind in the vehicle who sustained injuries during the wreck.
Troopers who searched Clark's vehicle said they found meth, marijuana and a scale inside.
According to the arrest report Clark was found and arrested a short time after the accident.
Clark was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on several complaints, including leaving the scene of an injury accident and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said the passenger suffered head and neck injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
