Officers said around 6 p.m. on Monday they received a call in reference to a car being stolen at the QuikTrip near West 71st South and South Elwood Avenue. Police said the victim arranged to meet someone at the gas station for an online transaction, but when the victim arrived, he got out of his car and leaving it running with the keys inside.
