Collinsville Residents Celebrate UPS Driver's Retirement

The City of Collinsville is saying goodbye to a UPS driver, who's been delivering packages there For 26 years.

Douglas Fry is retiring from the UPS after more than 40 years.

So, people from the community hosted a party for Fry at the Veterans Community Center.

"I've watched a lot of things happen in Collinsville. I've watched kids be born, grow up, and sometimes you lose some folks along the way, too. But it's been great, I've really enjoyed serving this community," Fry said.

Fry said he plans to focus on gardening and spending more time with his 14 children and 19 grandchildren.
