The Tulsa Area Young Women's Christian Association has announced that it is partnering with the Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission for a New Years event.
The partnership also includes the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park.
The group will host a launch event for the centennial year of the Tulsa Race Massacre. The event will take place on New Year's Day at 3 p.m. at the park.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be open to the public, instead, it will be live-streamed to Facebook.
The event will include a number of prominent speakers.
