The City of Tulsa wants to remind residents how to properly dispose of holiday trash.
According to city officials, most cardboard packaging and wrapping paper can be recycled except for anything with foil or glitter. Any items with foil or glitter must be thrown away in the trash.
Styrofoam, ribbons, bows, tinsel, Christmas lights and ornaments all need to go in the trash and can not be recycled.
The City also said that fake Christmas trees need to be thrown away in the trash and can not be recycled.
