Tulsa Non-Profit Hosts E-Waste Recycling Event

A Tulsa non-profit is hosting an e-waste recycling event this week. The Electronic Synergy Foundation will be collecting unwanted electronics at LaFortune Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. According to the foundation, electronics can become environmental hazards when tossed in landfills. The organization will be donating the unwanted devices to other non-profits.

A Tulsa non-profit is hosting an e-waste recycling event this week.

The Electronic Synergy Foundation will be collecting unwanted working electronics at LaFortune Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

According to the foundation, electronics can become environmental hazards when tossed in landfills.

The organization will be donating the unwanted devices to other non-profits.

Items with Freon, smoke detectors, medical equipment and light bulbs will not be accepted.
