This week most Green Country school districts are returning to classes for the spring semester. Some have chosen to return virtually and others are going back in-person as they continue to navigate through rising COVID-19 case numbers in Oklahoma. To find what your child’s district is doing, see below.
Tulsa Public Schools: Students in all grades will continue distance learning through Jan. 15. Students in pre-k through 3rd grade will return to in-person classes on Jan. 25. Students with special needs will who are receiving tier three or tier four level services will return in to in-person learning on Jan. 25. Students in 4th grade through 12th grade will return to in-person classes on February 1. For more information, Click Here.
Bixby Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 11.
Coweta Public Schools: Distance learning begins on Jan. 4 for a week and returns to class in-person on Jan. 11.
Union Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 4.
Broken Arrow Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 5.
Wagoner Public Schools: Virtual learning begins Jan. 5-8 and returns to in-person learning on Jan. 11.
Collinsville Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 5.
Skiatook Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 6.
Jenks Public Schools: Pre-k-6th grade begins in-person on Jan. 4 and older kids return in-person on Jan. 11.
Tahlequah Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 5.
Bartlesville Public Schools: In-person learning begins on Jan. 4.
Muskogee Public Schools: Distance learning begins on Jan. 4 and in-person learning begins on Jan. 11.
Okmulgee Public Schools: Distance learning begins on Jan. 4 and returns to in-person learning on Jan 11.
Sapulpa Public Schools: Teachers return on Jan. 4 and students return in-person on Jan. 5.
Bristow Public Schools: Distance learning begins on Jan. 4 and returns to in-person learning on Jan 11.
Berryhill Public Schools: Virtual learning begins on Jan. 4 and returns to in-person learning on Jan. 19.
McAlester Public Schools: Virtual learning begins Jan. 5 and returns to in-person learning on Jan. 11.
